Crew work party thank you!
A special thanks to all who were able to stop at Borden Light Marina yesterday. We made fast work of both my to do list and my sticky notes–so we should be able to splash Marquise on Wednesday or Thursday and sail the boat down to Newport this weekend.
Once in the water, I could use a hand delivering and bending on the sails. …

Saturday 8/4 to Sunday 8/5. May return Marquise to Newport on 8/6.
Twenty Hundred Club Race to BI. Race out Saturday and party by the Oar after race. Beach day Sunday, race back Monday.We'll start by Rose Island Warning 1030, Start 1035 (all boats start then - we are spinnaker class). High tide 1351, Low tide 0631.
(Slip Reservations at BI Boat Basin)
Need to work out meal plan and sleeping plan if too many people
We will be at BI Boat Basin.
Saturday:
Lunch - TBD please bring sandwiches for the race out. I'll have bottled water on the boat
Dinner - Buy meal tickets for the Twenty Hundred Club BBQ at BI Boat Basin. This is hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, and assorted beverages
Sunday:
Breakfast - if desired is buffet style at the Narragansett on the hill between the Oar and Payne's
Lunch/Munchies - There will be some chips, dips, cheese, pepperoni, etc. that I will have on the boat for the beach party. People please bring stuff to contribute to the beach party munchies. I will also bring a large cooler to stage with food and ice.
Dinner - we'll grab something in town as part of the ongoing party, dancing, etc.
Monday:
Breakfast - if desired is buffet style at the Narragansett on the hill between the Oar and Payne's
Lunch - Wraps with cold cuts I'll have in the reefer.
In addition I'll have a couple cases of beer, some fruit, chips, and crackers for munching.
